Awareness, a practice and a gift

“When you know better, you do better.”
“Knowledge is power”.

Both are true. I’m an avid learner, so knowledge is something I cannot ever have too much of.
Yet, looking back, I can see that Experience bring its own lessons. Lived Knowledge, instead of Mental Knowledge.
0bservation of the outside, Awareness of the inside, are also crucial pillars of progress.

Wheather you are searching for progress for yourself, for your kids, for your business, embrace experiences, even when they fail, maybe even more when they fail as they carry so much learning and growth.

I failed a lot in the past, I used to feel so bad about it, having these failed experiences lay heavy on my heart, taking space on my mind.

It’s always a tricky and balancing act : let the event and memory be painful/frustratting enough to not do it again, yet be kind to yourself enough to let it go. Holding on to it and letting it take all the space and energy you have cannot let you make use of the lesson.

As I’m doing my weekly review and making some plans for the future, I can see how much I’ve grown, I’m celebrating how I am better at this exercise.

Events happen again, as if to test you, to test you’ve learned the lesson since the last happening… Awareness is a practice, and the gift itself that comes from the practice. Grateful for mine I can lean on more and more.

😬 There will be more mistakes to learn from, no doubts.
Awareness, Knowledge, Growth… there are not linear processes.

Just because you feel you’ve been there before and not progressing doesn’t mean it’s true.
😉 You’ve been confirming your understanding of what doesn’t work.
🤩 You’re one step closer to know and act on what does.
You’ve got this.
